Last August 2, the project “RIGENERA” of waste collection at sea was presented, promoted by the AI-NURECC Infopoint in response to the PO FEAMP tender, measure 1.40 “Promoting sustainable fishing from an environmental point of view, efficient in terms of resources, innovative, competitive and knowledge-based and to preserve and protect the environment and promote the efficient use of resources “.

Fishermen with their boats will be actively involved in the installation of the collection points on board, as foreseen by the project, in the collection at sea and in the correct differentiation on land of marine litter, as well as in the active participation in information, communication and training campaigns provided.
