The AI-NURECC Direct Infopoint organized an event for Thursday 4 July on the topic of Marine Litter, adhering to the EUSAIR Environmental Quality pillar.
The event is conceived as a round table among Institutions, Research Institutions, representatives of the Marine and Environmental Associations, SMEs and different stakeholders related to the topic of Marine Litter and its management.
Beyond the presentation of the state of the art and of the different approaches, we will work on the preparation of an agreement for the actions to be implemented in order to counter the marine litter within a logic of circular economy and how the EUSAIR strategy and the financial instruments in the Adriatic Ionian area, in favor of territorial cooperation, can be a driving force for a systemic approach to the topic.
