The Festival is organized by the Municipality of Ancona with the support of the Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities (FAIC).
The event is dedicated to Blue economy, with a focus on fishing industry, sustainability and conscious consumption, culture and tradition, gastronomy and wine, tourism.
The Festival Tipicità in blu also aims at enhancing dialogue and encouraging new forms of cooperation within the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion area.
In the last three editions, the following cities have participated to the Festival: Kotor, Montenegro, in 2015; Split, Croatia, in 2016; replicas relojes Igoumenitsa, Greece, in 2017. The 5th edition will host the city of Durrës, the Albanian port on the Adriatic Sea.
The involvement of the Adriatic-ionian basin’s countries in the event is an occasion to jointly develop a number of promotional activities and cultural-economic exchanges, also in the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH). FAIC is supporting the EC by boosting replicas cartier the participation of the EUSAIR countries in the EYCH initiative.
