The FAIC at the 1st Adriatic Ionian Youth Organisations Forum (AIYOF) held in Tirana (Albania) on 19th November 2019 and organised by the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion in the framework of the AI-NURECC Initiative co-financed by the European Union, of which the FAIC is partner.

The event, attended by young people, students, politicians and local authorities, representatives of Managing Authorities of ETC programmes, Chambers of commerce, Universities, NGOs, has been an extraordinary occasion to explore the link among the EUSAIR, enlargement prospects of the Western Balkans and the role of youth in promoting their countries’ development.

During the second panel, focused on successful youth-oriented projects, ideas and initiatives, the FAIC presented the EUSAIR Youth Games as best practice within the A-I Region. Thus, they enhanced the process of cultural and territorial integration of the area and they promoted the active participation of youth as beneficiaries.

The EUSAIR Youth Games, held in Ancona on 27-30 September 2019, and the AI-NURECC info-edu activities (Info Kiosk & Info Day) stimulated the cooperation among the involved A-I Cities, they encouraged the mutual understanding and they promoted capacity-building regarding the EUSAIR issues.
